Your privacy on revisewise
revisewise.ai is a maths revision website for Years 9 to 11. This page explains what we keep, why, and who can see it.
What we keep
- Your first name, email address, school year and password (stored scrambled, so nobody can read it).
- For pupils, if they choose to add one: a parent or carer's email address or mobile number.
- Your answers, which topics you practise, your points and how many minutes you spend revising.
- Who invited you, so the person running revisewise can remove an account if needed.
Why
- To run your revision sessions and choose the right questions for you.
- To tell your parent or carer you've joined, and show them how much revision you do.
- To keep the site safe, for example limiting sign-ups and stopping misuse.
Who can see it
- You.
- Your parent or carer, through the private link we send them.
- The person running revisewise (the admin), to look after accounts.
- Other users only ever see your random nickname in the league, and only if you choose to join it. There are no public profiles and no messaging.
We never sell your data or use it for adverts. Your data is stored in London with our hosting providers (Vercel and Neon). Messages to parents are sent through an email or text service.
Your choices
- Download everything we hold about you from Account → Your data.
- Delete your account from Account → Your data. A parent or carer can also delete it from their private link.
- Parents can turn off the weekly update from their private link.
